Various Clients - Freelance Writer

The New York Times - Contributed humor essays and articles about local restaurants for the newspaper's New Jersey section. Also wrote news articles and celebrity profiles.

AOL TV Squad - Contribute 3-5 blog posts per day to this client, writing articles and reviews about various television shows. Also contribute celebrity interviews to the site, which previously hadn't been done to a large extent.

New Jersey Tables - For over a year wrote feature articles as well as advertising copy for this client, which profiles local restaurants in the state. Feature articles would profile restaurants that bought advertising within the magazine.

Salon.com - In 2003 and 2004, wrote two essays for this site, both of which garnered national radio interviews, the former with the syndicated radio program "The Dolans", and the latter with BBC World Service radio.

Downtown Magazine Group - For about a year, wrote articles for this magazine group, which profiles businesses and cultural events throughout the more affluent communities of Northern and Central New Jersey. Profiles included art events and galleries, restaurants, and nightlife reviews.  Also collected information and wrote round-up articles for the front of the magazine.

The Black Table - Wrote many humor articles for this web site.

General system administration tasks performed (maintain user IDs and groups, permissions, built new servers) for 200 servers serving 2000 people at research site in Bridgewater, NJ.

Managed capacity between user home servers and mail servers; migrated users to larger servers using tools such as Secure Copy.

Managed Symantec Anti-Virus Corporate Edition Console, virus definition distributions, and software updates. Kept up-to-date on latest virus threats.

Worked on team that built out IBM's first collocation site, in Newark, NJ. Helped set up infrastructure servers (NT and AIX), system racks, and cabling

Performed annual security review applying both corporations' security standards to ensure data integrity.
